What are Tournament Points, and how does the process with them work? Tournament Points are a form of currency at The Club. All players start with a fixed amount of Tournament Points (500) upon opening an account. They cannot be reloaded, but will be automatically "topped off" once per day. Tournament Points cannot be wagered at ring games. Tournament Points can be used as buy-in for certain tournaments and may be awarded for certain tournaments. Tournament Points are non-transferable and have no cash value.
Club members whose balance falls below 500 are topped up, or refreshed, back to 500 nightly at 12:00AM EST. However, please note that if your balance is over 500, you are not given additional chips.
Why am I unable to play for money? Why couldn’t I enter my home state when signing up? I’m sorry, but because of certain laws, residents of some states are currently not eligible to participate on our premium Club site. Those states are Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Washington. If you live in any of these states you are not eligible to participate for prizes. However, residents of these states can still play for play chips in both blackjack and poker.
If you don’t live in one of those states, it may be that you have downloaded the free version intended for these states. If that’s the case, please contact Member Services for assistance. They can see that you get the correct, premium version.
Why didn’t you accept my credit/debit card? In most cases, the bank that issued your credit or debit card does not provide us with the reason why they declined charges for our service. If you have any questions about why they wouldn’t allow us to use your card, you may want to contact them to see if they will provide you with the reason. You may also try to use a different card if that’s an option.
Why can’t I log into my account? (Validation, wrong username or password entered) It may be that your email address has not been validated. Please check your email inbox to see if we’ve sent you instructions on how to validate. If not, please contact Member Services for assistance with this process.
Also, please make certain you have entered your username and password exactly as you created them. Any variation, including spaces that shouldn't be there or no spaces that should be there, will cause the system to be unable to recognize your login information.
How can I change the information on my account? (i.e. username, email address, etc.) Please contact Member Services for assistance with changing your account information. You can email us at members@theclubservices.com.
I was late and you guys kicked me out. Why did you eliminate me? I bought into it/won my seat and never got to play a hand. Our poker tournaments have a unique real that forces automatic elimination to all absent players who don’t act by the end of the second blind level (12 minutes, in most cases). This was implemented to limit the impact of absenteeism on the progress of our games. If you don’t act within this time frame, you will be removed from the game.
How do you chat with other players here? Our chat feature may work a bit differently than what you've used at other sites. To chat at our tables, simply begin typing when you're at your seat. When you do, you'll see your words appear in a line at the top of the chat box area. Once you've finished typing what you want to say, hit "Enter" on your keyboard. You'll then see your words appear in the chat box where everyone can see what you've said. That's it!
How do satellites work? Satellites are simply a “cheap” way to win a seat into larger events at our site. For example, the monthly $20K Final normally has a buy in of 500 Tournament Points. Players who win a satellite into this event can do so for as little as 10 Tournament Points.
Satellites award automatic entry into the event you are playing for. At the end of the satellite, the winners are automatically registered. Please note that satellite wins are not transferable, nor are they refundable. You can not un-register from a game if you won your seat by playing in a satellite. In addition, you can only win one seat for any particular tournament, so you may not want to play in a satellite for a game you are already registered for.
How can I see what tournaments I’m registered for in the future? If you are registered for an upcoming tournament, you can find your name in the lobby for that game among the other registrants. You can sort the usernames alphabetically to find yours quickly.
Registration for upcoming tournaments is not reported anywhere else. You may want to write down the times and dates of upcoming games for which you are registered to keep track if you think you may forget.
Where’s my check? Club members should typically expect to receive their cash awards and/or prizes approximately 30 days after submitting their claims for approval. You should expect to receive yours within this time frame.
How do I claim my prizes? How does that whole process work? Before you can claim prizes at our site, you will first need to submit a copy of your legal ID for verification purposes. This only needs to be done once, unless your address changes. If the address on your ID does not match the address on your account, you will need to include an additional document for address verification. This can be a utility bill or statement, as long as the address on it matches the address on your account.
Once you have submitted your ID, to claim your prizes simply log into the Club application, click on "My Account," click on "Prize Winnings," scroll to the bottom and click on "Check All" (this will put a check mark in the box corresponding to your prizes), then click on "Claim." That's all there is to it.
What is the billing process? What are my payment options? At this time, all payments must be done with a valid credit or debit card. There are no payment alternatives. All billing will renew automatically in the interval you select (monthly, quarterly, or annually). If you wish to cancel your membership, you may do so at any time. Cancellation will prevent future billing.
Members can not use cash awards to pay for membership fees. All cash awards are currently mailed to the address on the winner’s account in the form of a check via US Mail.
When am I going to be able to try to win a seat on your TV show again? The last seat for season 1 of our TV show was awarded on Saturday, December 27th. We will keep you and our other members posted as to when the next season will begin.
How does the Leaderboard work? How do I accumulate Leaderboard Points? The leaderboard is a way for our players to keep track of how they match up against other members at our site. The more tournaments you play, and the better you place in the events, the more points you will win. Each month the top 1200 players will be invited to play in an elite event, depending on their standing. Check out the Leaderboard overview for details on the formula. You will find all details under the “My Account” section of the website.
